About 35 miles west of Tulsa, Oklahoma, sits a small,
technical and incredibly rewarding road racing course called Hallett.
Built in 1976, this 1.8 mile, 11 turn track features 80 feet of
elevation change through its hilly topography. Hallett is
considered a ‘technically difficult’ course, and for good reason. One
of the most unique features is an uphill, off-camber turn which is
infamous for sending unsuspecting drivers off-course. So much so, that
its official nickname is, ‘The Bitch.’

This was my second visit to Hallett but my first time running in the CCW (normal) direction. It was also my second charity event with the VOA but this time I participated by taking the donors out on track with me. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and I got a pretty good handle on the proper line. Managed a best lap of the day at 1:21.9 on my last session. Unfortunately, my forward-facing camera failed to record so I was left with only this rearward view for my video.
